Kadokawa Games has officially announced a successor to its RPG title El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron. The upcoming title, The Lost Child (ザ・ロストチャイルド), is said to be sharing the the same world with its sister title.
The Lost Child will feature Lucifel, who is the guide of El Shaddai’s protagonist Enoch, as the main character. It is unknown whether Enoch makes an appearance in the new game, but his name is mentioned in the newly-released trailer.
El Shaddai on PS3 and Xbox 360 is renowned for its mythical yet comical theme. The story follows Enoch, a scribe trying to prevent a great flood from destroying humanity. Lucifel is a guardian angel that guides him through the journey and well-remembered for his use of a black cellphone to contact the God.
The Lost Child is set to release in Summer 2017 on PSV and PS4.
