Rui Takato, creator of the ongoing manga series Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! / Hagure Idol Jigokuhen is retiring from the manga industry due to issues related to his private life.
The manga creator stated in a series of tweets that they would be unable to continue drawing manga about “boobs and sex”, and if the situation in his household changes, then he may continue working on manga, but for now, will switch to another line of work. Takato still plans on releasing the next three chapters of the series and hopes fans will enjoy the work.
While the author doesn’t explicitly state whether or not his retirement will be temporary or permanent, his ongoing series Booty Royale will go on a temporary hiatus due to his retirement, implying that it may someday be picked back up and isn’t canceled.

Booty Royale: Never Go Down Without a Fight! is an ongoing manga series about an 18-year-old karate expert Misora Haebaru, who decides to move to Tokyo to live out her dream as a famous singer. When she arrives she discovers that the agency she was working for tricked her into joining the adult entertainment industry. The agency forces her under contract to fight 100 opponents in a martial arts tournament, and if she loses, she has to pay the ultimate price with her body!
The manga’s chapters are compiled into 14 tankobon volumes, with the first 10 volumes being translated into English. The manga also received a spin-off manga titled Hagure Idol Jigoku-hen Gaiden: Princess Sarah, which was published online and also compiled into a single volume.
