The previously announced Kaguya-sama: Love is War anime project turns out to be an anime film titled, Kaguya-sama: Love is War – The First Kiss Never Ends (Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai: First Kiss wa Owaranai). The film adapts the arc of the same name from the manga.
The film will be screened on television in Japan after the film makes its theatrical debut in a special screening event across cinemas there.
The First Kiss Never Ends arc takes place between chapters 142 to 151 in the manga, and covers the aftermath of Kaguya and Shirogane’s first kiss, as they come to terms with their feelings for each other.
The anime film is set to debut in Winter 2022.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War is a manga and anime series written by Aka Akasaka, who is also currently working on Oshi no Ko.
The story focuses on Kaguya Shinomiya and Kei Shirogane, as the two try to get the other to confess to each other! Both are actually infatuated with one another but have planted deep into their heads that the other person has to confess first or else it’s somehow their loss! The series is full of comedic situations also happening as a result of the members of the student council, filled with colorful cast of characters, and relatable situations.
