After the release of Mini Famicom, Nintendo is going to make the 27-year-old Super Famicom a mini version too. The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom will come with 21 old titles including Final Fantasy VI and The Legend of Zelda.
Being a successor to Famicom, Super Famicom was first launched on 21st November, 1990. According to Nintendo, the controller remains the same size still despite the console being smaller (Official notice).
There will be 21 games installed in the console. The most surprising title must be Starfox 2, the unreleased/cancelled sequel to Star Fox. It is finally coming to mini Super Famicom with a new cover design after 20 years.
21 Games Included in The Japanese Version
Mini Super Famicom will be available on 5th October for 7,890 yen. The European and American version will be available on 29th September for USD 79.99.
