DMM’s popular web game and mobile game Touken Ranbu (刀剣乱舞) has announced a new sword, Tomoegata Naginata (巴形薙刀). This is another naginata besides Iwatooshi (岩融).
Tomoegata Naginata, which is named after the twelfth-century female samurai Tomoe Gozen, has a broad yet curvy blade and is made specially for ceremonies. In the game, the character has a godlike personality that transcends humanity and is very protective of his master. He is voiced by Hirofumi Nojima.
