thatgamecompany, the studio behind Journey, Flower, and flOw is gearing up to release its latest title Sky: Children of the Light on Playstation consoles soon on December 6 with Cross-play.
To celebrate the announcement, thatgamecompany released a new trailer for the game made in collaboration with the youtuber SAD-ist based on her love letter animatic to the game.
The Playstation versions of the game will fully support cross-play with the mobile and switch versions of the game. Players that purchase the game before December 8, can also participate in the game’s virtual concert with music by AURORA, in one of the world’s largest virtual concert venue shared with over 4,000 players on one screen at the same time in-game.

Sky: Children of the Light is an open-world social-adventure title also available on iOS,Android and Switch. The game was created and published by thatgamecompany, who are well known for creating other adventure titles such as Journey, Flower, and more. It was first released for iOS on July 18, 2019. An Android version was later released on April 7, 2020, and a Nintendo Switch version was released on June 29, 2021.
In the game players can explore a kingdom long past its age with a magical cape that allows them to fly through the skies. Players can explore seven unique realms each covering a different aesthetic theme, representing the stages of life.
As you explore these worlds you can encounter other players , and work togehter to collect spirits that will grant you winged lights. These can be used to level up their cape and grant you stronger, and faster movement abilities letting you fly higher and faster.
