Ghost Story Games announced today at The Game Awards 2022 gaming event that its new FPS Judas will be released for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. You can wishlist the game now on Steam and Epic Games.
The game is a single-player narrative first-person shooter that is currently in development by Ghost Story Games, formerly Irrational Games, a studio led by Ken Levine, director of System Shock 2, BioShock, and BioShock Infinite.
“We founded Ghost Story Games to build upon the legacy of System Shock 2, BioShock, and BioShock Infinite. With Judas, we’ve created an entirely new world and set of characters while exploring different approaches to single-player, narrative first-person shooters,” Levine said.
In the released trailer, we can see a woman, called Judas, the main character, and fighting scenes with robots that seem to be mob enemies. Details are unknown, but it seems that the familiar BioShock series system, in which the right-hand holds firearms and the left-hand handles supernatural powers, is still alive.
