The anime film Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Cosmos has revealed the cast that will play the Sailor Starlights, a new teaser trailer, and the premiere dates for the two-part movie. The first part will open on June 9, 2023, and the second part on June 30, 2023, in theaters in Japan.
The movie will follow the manga’s Shadow Galactica Arc and the final chapter of the new TV anime series that started with Sailor Moon Crystal in 2014.
The teaser trailer features Sailor Starlights, a group of three Sailor Senshi who came to Earth in search of their princess and hide their true identities as the popular idol group Three Lights.
Marina Inoue takes the role of Seiya Kou (Sailor Star Fighter), the always cool leader of the Star Lights, Saori Hayami plays Taiki Kou (Sailor Star Maker), the cool, calm, and intelligent member of the group, and Sakura Ayane plays Yaten Kou (Sailor Star Healer), who has a charming gap between her cute and innocent side as an idol and her cynicism in everyday life.
