The music unit ChiCO with HoneyWorks announced recently that the project will be taking a temporary hiatus after its final concert as part of the HoneyWorks Zepp Tour 2023 on April 8.
After the hiatus, CHiCO will be working on a solo project as a vocalist. The temporary hiatus isn’t attributed to any health or bandmate issues, but rather its been decided that CHiCO will take a break from group projects so she can work on improving her own skills as an artist. She mentioned in the announcement that this decision came after talking to members and staff extensively.
In a letter posted by CHiCO as part of the announcement, she details her reasoning for the hiatus and says that “In order to continue singing the songs I love, I want to face music head-on and take on even more challenges. I know some of you might not have caught up with my feelings on the matter yet, but I hope you will witness CHiCO take on new challenges in the future.”
