Koei Tecmo Games revealed new information about its upcoming RPG in the Atelier series, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End and the Secret Key, which is scheduled for release on March 23, 2023.
The publisher also revealed a story trailer previewing Ryza’s new and final adventure together with the game’s theme song “Travelers” by suis, the vocalist of Yorushika.
Atelier Ryza 3 begins when a mysterious island suddenly appears, which adversely affects the control system of Kurken Island. To investigate, Ryza and her friends encounter a mysterious door so huge that they can hardly look up. Believing that there is a way to save the island beyond the door, Ryza set off on a grand adventure to find the “key” and the source of alchemy.
At the beginning of their adventure in the Kirk Archipelago, a mysterious voice suddenly echoed in Ryza’s head, leading her to the “Great Encyclopedia of All Things”. Ryza and her friends believe that it’s one of the clues to saving the island, and they continue their journey in pursuit of its trace.
The “Great Encyclopedia of All Things” is believed to signify the alchemist’s aspirations and goals. However, what Ryza heard was a voice that tried to lead her to the encyclopedia. What is the reason for this call to the alchemist?
Ryza and her friends decide to open a door in the Kirk Archipelago and go in search of the “Great Encyclopedia of All Things”. Toward the end of their journey to save the island of Kurken, the eleven members of the team face their final challenge.
