The popular anime series Pokémon will premiere a new series featuring a duo of new protagonists on April 14 in a one-hour special episode in Japan. The main cast, teaser trailer, and key visual for the upcoming series were revealed.
The key visual features the main characters, Riko and Roy, along with Freed and Captain Pikachu, standing against the backdrop of a magnificent sky, while various Pokémon from different regions, including Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, are shown around them.
The new series will star Riko and Roy as the two main characters. Minori Suzuki plays Riko, Yuka Terasaki plays Roy and Taku Yashiro plays Pokémon Professor Freed.
The original character designs for Riko, Roy, and Freed were also unveiled. Additionally, a teaser trailer for the new series was released, which features Riko, Roy, and the beginning of their new adventure as Pokémon Trainers.
The new animated series follows Riko, a girl from the Paldean region who possesses a strange pendant, and Roy, a boy from the Kanto region who carries a mysterious monster ball.
Together, they embark on a new adventure in the vast world of Pokémon. Along the way, they encounter new friends and foes, and face various challenges. Their journey is about discovering something important through their adventures.
