At today’s Level-5 Vision 2023 Tsuzumi, the developer streamed a new teaser trailer showcasing the story and systems of the upcoming Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, which is now set to release 2023 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices.
The video digs into the gameplay system that focuses on character interactions and matches, including a glimpse of a new system that promises to take the gameplay to new heights. MAPPA, the anime studio responsible for hit series like Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan: The Final Season, will handle the animation production for the game.
According to the official press release and blog posts following the announcement, Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will have the Chronicle mode where players can assemble their own teams from a roster of over 4500 characters, each with their unique set of skills and abilities. It also promises that team matches are more intense and exciting than before.

The setting is Nagumohara Junior High School in Nagasaki. The main character Unmei Sasanami, who tries to forget about soccer, finds that soccer has changed. The humiliating sight reawakens his passion for soccer. Unmei then decides to revive the soccer club.
A soccer monster, Haru Endō, who reigns supreme in this sport, awaits them ahead of various powerful opponents. The encounter between these two opposites will be the beginning of a new tale of heroism.

In Chronicle Mode, you can join up to 4,500 players, almost all of whom have appeared in previous games in the series. First, challenge the Chronicle Battle Route, where players from the past gather.
