TV anime series Dagashi Kashi (だがしかし) has announced a second season for 2018 release. The premiere date is not yet confirmed, however.
Dagashi Kashi is based off the manga series of the same title by Kotoyama (琴山) and serialised in Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story revolves around Kokonotsu Shikada, whose father runs a sweets store and wishes him to inherit it. Shidare Hotaru is the daughter of a business man who owns a successful snacks company. Her surprise visit to recruit Kokonotsu changes his boring daily life and ignites his passion in snacks and sweets. The manga is still running.
