The special spin-off episode, Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage will premiere on April 13, 2023! A promotional video was also unveiled featuring the opening theme song “GOLD” By People 1, and the ending theme song, “Ate mo Naku” (aimlessly) by Aimer.
The spin-off is a special episode that follows an untold courageous story of Bojji, Kage, and their friends. The music group People 1 commented that they produced the song while enjoying the anime and manga, trying to delve deeper into the emotions and relationships of the characters.
While the ending theme song artist Aimer commented that she hoped to create a song that would make viewers feel supported like the friendship of Bojji and his friends.
Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage delves deeper into the unexplored tales of the series, narrating the untold story of courage surrounding Bojji, Kage, and their companions. In the spin-off, new mysteries, unseen characters, and exciting adventures will be unveiled.
▍ About Ranking of Kings: Treasure Chest of Courage
Ōsama Ranking, is a Japanese fantasy anime series based on the manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Sōsuke Tōka. An anime adaptation premiered in October 2021 and aired for two consecutive cours. The story follows Bojji, a deaf and powerless prince who aspires to become a great king, and his loyal friend Kage, who guides him through the challenges of the kingdom. The manga is published digitally in English as Ranking of Kings by Crunchyroll.
