Adult visual novel Dies irae (ディエス・イレ) will have its first anime adaption coming on 6th October this year. The second trailer is released today (9th August).

The anime is currently in production at ACGT studio and directed by the Mardock Scramble series’ director Susumu Kudo. The voice actors who use pseudonyms in this adult game will reprise their roles using their real names.

Originally developed by Light for PC, Dies irae is set in modern Japan where a monstrous sorcerer group Longinus Dreizehn Orden is there to seize the treasures that allow the owner to gain great power. The protagonist Ren is dragged into the fight against the organisation after his continuous nightmares about guillotines and mysterious dark knights.
A mobile game adaption of the game is also coming this winter.
