Koei Tecmo Games announced the development of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Shutsujin, the first geolocation-based game in the Nobunaga’s Ambition series as part of the franchise’s 40th anniversary. the developer also confirmed that the closed beta test for the game will run from April 12 to April 18 in Japan. Sign-ups are currently available until April 6 at 23:59 [JST].
The game will be released in Japan only, with no information on whether it will be available in other regions. Players who want to participate in the closed beta can register on the official website, and they will have a chance to experience the game before the official launch.
An official Twitter account for the game has been revealed and the game will be released for both iOS and Android. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases, and Koei co-founder Kou Shibusawa revealed details about the game at the special Nobunaga’s Ambition 40th-anniversary program held on March 30.
