The English server of Cygames’ popular mobile RPG Princess Connect! Re: Dive is ending its service on April 30, 2023 [UTC]. The news has shocked thousands of worldwide fans as it has run roughly for 2 years and 3 months since its English release in January 2021.
Crunchyroll Games didn’t explain the reasons behind the decision but expressed gratitude for the support of the loyal fans in the official announcement.
As of today, the in-game Shop has been closed, and all in-app purchases are no longer available for purchase. Players will still be able to use any accrued Jewels or similar resources until the closure of the game at the end of April. But no details have been revealed in regard to the refund.
The shutdown announcement was made only for the English version, so players can still enjoy the game on the Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Traditional Chinese servers. But unfortunately, data is not transferable.
