Takt Op. Symphony just announced through the game’s official Discord Server that the game is planning yet another closed beta test!
The closed beta test begins on April 25 to May 2, with pre-downloads being available on April 24. The beta this time will be conducted as “Google Play Beta Testing”, presumably meaning players will soon be able to apply for the beta and download it through the Play Store, which unfortunately means iOS players will be left out once more.
The new closed beta test features fixes to the language and black screen issues, optimized performance, while also adding more activities along with new musicarts and memories, and made it so Destiny and Musicarts move faster during certain scenes. The new test also adds more difficulties to the Snow Mountain Expeditions.
The game has since also opened up its website and more social media pages including a Twitter page, the US version of its Facebook page, and a global version of its discord server, practically confirming the game’s release globally.
Takt Op Symphony is coming to iOS and Android devices in 2023.
▍About Takt Op. Symphony
Takt Op. Symphony / Takt op. Destiny is the City of Crimson Melody is a mobile game RPG based on DeNA and Bandai Namco’s Takt op. multi-media project.
In 2067, 20 years after the events of the anime, the game is set in a universe where music can no longer be played because it attracts horrific monsters called D2s, which came from a black meteorite that fell from space several years ago. To combat the D2s, a group called the Symphonica Internal Organization and Musicarts was farmed, with people that have the power to fight the D2s through music.
The game itself is a 3D Turn-based RPG where you’ll control Musicarts to battle against enemies, executing beautifully rendered moves inspired by musical compositions. The game features a story mode, and multiple character story episodes so you can learn more about your favorite, and new characters.
