Game Hours announced it is shutting down the original Japanese server of the strategy raising-sim Velvet Code on June 28, just a week before the launch of its traditional Chinese version. The game will have been live for 1 year and 4 months when it shuts down.
The announcement made on the game’s official website said that the game is shutting down on June 28, 15:58 [JST] and the developers apologized for the shutdown and said it tried everything to make the game more enjoyable but couldn’t deliver a satisfying service, and has decided to shut down the game. As of the announcement, the game has suspended the sale of all Diamonds and will be accepting requests for refunds from June 28 to August 30, as long as you have any diamonds leftover from your purchase. Players will need their UID, and Username to apply for a refund.
