Cygames is transforming its popular Uma Musume: Pretty Derby franchise into an exciting party action game set to launch worldwide in 2024! Titled Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash, this video game spinoff is currently under development for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
The game features a pixelated roster of fan-favorite Umamusume characters participating in a fun-filled athletic festival. Tracen Academy’s time-honored Spring Fan Fest will host an event, Slapdash Grand Prix, in which players can pick a team from the game’s roster to take part in the competition that features four different events.
In the reveal trailer, the Umamusume characters are depicted in 2D pixel art as they run, jump, and have a great time during the competition. The range of events including dodgeball and a big-eating derby, amongst other exciting activities are reminiscent of games from the NES era.
Details about the game are still scarce and we’ll have to wait a bit longer for a more thorough picture. So stay tuned!
