The immersive VR adventure game Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate is heading to Nintendo Switch on November 22, 2023, in Japan. Originally released for Meta Quest 2 and PlayStation VR2, the game will finally be playable for the first time on non-VR consoles.
Titled Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate Definitive Edition, the switch port will feature all three episodes of Dyschronia as one complete bundle. As a bonus, the game will also include a new scenario exclusive to the Definitive Edition.
Developed by IzanagiGames and MyDearest, Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate has players take on the role of Hal Scion, a Special Supervisor in Astrum Close City. A futuristic marine location, Astrum Close City is a place where crime has been completely eradicated. When the founder of the city is found mysteriously killed, Hal is tasked with finding a culprit and bringing them to justice.
Equipped with the ability to rewrite events in the past called Memory Dive, Hal must enter the memories of the clues left at the scene of the crime to piece together the truth behind an implausible murder.

Starting today, pre-orders are available for the standard physical edition of the game which comes with a clear bookmark and store-exclusive merch depending on which online storefront you order from.
A separate more extravagant Premium Box is also available for the super-fans out there. The set includes a tote bag, acrylic board depicting the character Systelia, a special sticker set, the official soundtrack CD, a 100-page booklet containing an exclusive short story, and a special design box for the entire package. The aforementioned clear bookmark is also included in the box set.
The Premium Box will be available for JPY$19,800 (tax included) and preorders are available from August 21, all the way up until October 2 [JST].
