Sports manga series Hanebado! (はねバド!), also known as The Badminton Play of Ayano Hanesaki!, is getting an TV anime series in 2018 Summer. The news was announced on the mangaka Kosuke Hamada’s (濵田浩輔) Twitter.

Started in 2013 on good! Afternoon magazine, the story revolves around the badminton club in Kitakomachi High School. The heroines are Ayano Hanesaki, a first year sports prodigy who avoids badminton, and Nagisa Aragaki, a third year member who works extremely hard to be the best player in Japan.
Hanesaki is voiced by Hitomi Owada while Aragaki is voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro.
A short trailer has been released.
The anime is directed by Monster Strike The Movie director Shinpei Ezaki and the script is created by Haikyuu!! screenwriter Taku Kishimoto. It is currently in production at Liden Films.
