While mobile otome game Hiragana Danshi (ひらがな男子) is about to end, an animation project has already begun.
The movie, Hiragana Danshi The Movie: Prologue (劇場版 ひらがな男子 ~序~), is directed by Seiji Mizushima (Fullmetal Alchemist) and written by Bakarhythm. It will open on 16th March 2018 in Japan.
The mobile game, which has run for just a few months, will be terminated on 13th April 2018.
▍Story
Set in a world where written words no longer exist. Hiragana is a collection of Japanese characters. Among them, “A” travels all over Japan with his assistance Anko to look for others of his kind. When he eventually finds one – “U”, he is told about a visible mark that all hiragana men must have.
