During today’s Cardcaptor Sakura Happiness Memories (カードキャプターさくら ハピネスメモリーズ) stage event, Bushiroad announced that the mobile game will come out in 2019.
Voice actresses such as Sakura Tange (as Sakura Kinomoto), Aya Hisakawa (as Cerberus), Junko Iwao (as Tomoyo Daidouji), Motoko Kumai (as Syaoran Li), and Minori Suzuki (as Akiho Shinomoto) were present at the event. Together they gave a detailed introduction of the game’s genre and features.
Contrary to fans’ expectation, Cardcaptor Sakura Happiness Memories is in fact a dress-up game. Story-wise, it has an original plot that incorporates with Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card, Clow Card arc and Sakura Card arc. There are also exclusive illustrations that are not available elsewhere to go with the new story!
The game recreates Cardcaptor Sakura’s main backdrop Tomoeda-cho and sets it as the main mission hub. Clearing various missions will give players materials for making Sakura’s classic costumes from different anime seasons.
