Co-developed by Aniplex and KAYAC, mobile RPG Cross × Logos (クロス×ロゴス) revealed its gameplay. Set to release this Autumn, the game has also launched its pre-registration campaign.
The word puzzle X battle game is created by Kotoba no Puzzle: Mojipittan (ことばのパズル もじぴったん)’s game designer Hiroyuki Gotō (後藤裕之) and SQUARE ENIX’s previous game producer Takehiro Andō (安藤武博).
▍Story
It sets in a world, where the existence of the Philosophy Tower (フィロソフィアの塔) brings unprecedented dangers as it stores a large collection of books and unlimited knowledge. As the librarian of the tower, players will meet different characters with unique personalities and unravel the mysteries around the world.
▍Gameplay
Players can attack the enemy by forming vocabulary with the Japanese word blocks. Forming word combos increase attack power and gives a double hit. Also, players can release the ultimate skills of different characters after fulfilling their criteria.
