Eliphant, the organizers of GameStart Asia, has recently conducted an online survey with over 2,000 gamers between the age of 17 – 45 years old from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei. Compiling the feedback they received, here are some of the trends of SEA gamers. How many of them do you share?
▍SEA Survey Findings
In the SEA survey, the majority of the participants were students, being at 51%, with 82.1% being male gamers. 80.8% of SEA gamers preferred to game in the comforts of their own homes and 11.9% preferred to play in cybercafes and arcades. Surprising, 2.7% of the participants preferred to play on the move.
