The TV anime adaptation of Nanako Tsujimura’s (辻村七子) mystery light novel series “The Case Files of Jeweler Richard (宝石商リチャード氏の謎鑑定)” reveals the premiere date on 9th January, more cast members, and theme songs in the latest main promotional video.
▍Story
The story centers around a handsome British jeweler Richard Ranasinghe Dvorpian and a Japanese university student with a bright and sincere personality, Seigi Tanaka. To repay Seigi of saving him from some drunkards on the street, Richard helps Seigi to do a jewelry appraisal on a ring that his grandmother held when she died, and thus unveiling the truth of her past.

It was originally a light novel series written by Nanako Tsujimura (辻村七子) and illustrated by Utako Yukihiro (雪広うたこ) (B-PROJECT). The TV anime adaptation by Shuka will be directed by Taro Iwasaki (岩崎太郎) (Fullmetal Alchemist, One Week Friends), while Mariko Kunisawa (國澤真理子) (Natsume’s Book of Friends) will handle the series composition.
