Based on the NEKO WORKS adult visual novel, TV anime NEKOPARA (ネコぱら) revealed a new visual, PV and its theme songs. The series will premiere on 9th January 2020.
The series is animated by Felix Film and directed by “Hinomaruzumou” director Yasutaka Yamamoto (山本靖貴), with “Lupin III: Part 5” scriptwriter Gō Zappa (雑破業) handling series composition, Yuichi Hirano (平野勇一) designing the characters, and Akiyuki Tateyama (立山秋航)composing the music.
The opening theme, “Shiny Happy Days” is performed by the cast members, including Yuki Yagi (八木 侑紀), Iori Saeki (佐伯伊織), Shiori Izawa (井澤詩織), Miku Itō (伊藤美来), Yuri Noguchi (のぐちゆり), and Marin Mizutani (水谷麻鈴). Yagi and Saeki also performs the ending song, “The scent of the Sun” (陽だまりの香り).

▍Story
Kashou Minaduki, the son of a Japanese traditional confection maker, moved out to open his own patisserie “La Soleil”. When he was unpacking his stuff, Kashou found two of the catgirls (“neko”) that his family had been raising hiding in the boxes: Chocola and Vanilla.
He tried to send them back, but the cute catgirls pleaded until he gave in. Now they run La Soleil together. They spent some great time with the help of Shigure, sister of Kashou, and other catgirls in their family: Azuki, Maple, Cinnamon, and Coconut. One day, when Chocola goes out to run some errands, she meets a kitten. The story starts with their encounter…
