Sega Games’s smartphone RPG “SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI Liberation Dx2” (Ｄ×２ 真・女神転生 リベレーション) announces collaboration events with TV anime “Berserk” (ベルセルク). The game will also get a major update in spring, while the updated contents are also revealed.
▍Collaboration Events with “Berserk”
This is the first collaboration event with “Berserk”, which is originally a dark fantasy manga created by Kentaro Miura (三浦 建太郎) in 1989. The series centers on the characters of Guts, a lone mercenary, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the “Band of the Hawk”. Themes of free will, humanity’s spiritual desires, and the pursuit of goals and meaning pervade the story, as it explores both the best and worst of human nature.
The collaboration details, including dates and contents, will be announced later.
▍Revived Collaboration Event “BAYONETTA”
To celebrate the release of “Bayonetta and Vanquish” for PS4 and Xbox One, collaboration event “BAYONETTA” will be revived from 20th February to 5th March.
New challenge quests and rewards will be added to the event, while status for ★5 Bayonetta and Jeanne will be enhanced.
▍Spring Updates
Main story, Part 2, Chapter Nine will be added after the update. New characters will also be featured in the story.
“Aura gate 2” will open Floor 41 to 50, bringing an end to the story. Demon Rukifugus (魔王 ルキフグス) will also appear as enemy.
New characters Kisana (CV: Ari Ozawa) and Vince (CV: Kenjiro Tsuda) will also be joining the adventure.
New race “Vicious Bird” (凶鳥) will be available.
