Konami’s trading card game Yu-Gi-Oh!（遊☆戯☆王）participated at C3 in Hong Kong this year not only to sell cards and other merchandises, but also to hold a tournament for the annual Asia Championship Qualifiers. The final winner will have a chance to advance to the World Championship.
The tournament currently held at C3 in Hong Kong is the Winter Qualifiers. It is the year-end event that is held in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Each region will send two representatives including the winner from the Winter Qualifiers to the World Championship. Another representative will be the winner of the next year’s Qualifier.
