The TV anime adaptation of Cygames Uma Musume Pretty Derby (ウマ娘 プリティーダービー) franchise’s spinoff manga Umayon (うまよん) revealed a new key visual and PV. The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2020.
“Umayon” is originally a four-panel comic series created by Jet Kuma (熊ジェット ) and written by Satoshi Itō (伊藤仁). It is a slice-of-life comedy focusing on the characters of the “Uma Musume Pretty Derby” franchise.

▍Staff and Production
The series is a five-minute short anime and is animated by DMM.futureworks and W-Toon Studio. The cast members Azumi Waki, Akari Kitō, Iori Saeki, Minami Takahashi, and Rena Maeda are performing the ending theme song “Pyoitto Hareruya!” (ぴょいっと♪はれるや！)
▍New Manga Series
The franchise is also getting a new manga adaptation in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine titled “Cinderella Gray”. Taiyō Kuzumi (久住太陽) is drawing the manga, which will premiere this summer.
