TV anime New Game!（ニューゲーム）is going to release a second season after a half-year hiatus. The series is a four-panel manga series illustrated by Shotaro Tokuno（得能正太郎）and serialised in Manga Time Kirara Carat.
The anime, produced by Doga Kobo, premiered in summer 2016. It revolves around a high-school graduate Aoba Suzukaze（涼風青葉）, who joins a game manufacturing company as a character designer. In this girl-only company, her daily life is filled with joys and laughter.
The president of Doga Kobo has previously revealed to be making a sequel of a long-awaited anime, which led many fans to believe it would be Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun（月刊少女野崎くん）.
