▍Synopsis
Libra, a city that separated into two sectors—”the Upper”, the center of wealth and politics, and “the Outside”. The Outside is home to crime, corruption, and curious incidents involving monstrosities or youkai.
There, young detective Sonia Summers crosses paths with three peculiar humanoid yōkai — Bem, Bela, and Belo — who seek to protect humans and fight against the evil yōkai that terrorizes them. Living as “Youkai-Ningen,” they are excluded by other yōkai for their human-like lifestyles and rejected and hurt by humans when they reveal their true forms.
Despite the hardships they face, these three Yōkai-Ningen secretly live among humans, continuing to pursue their dreams of one day becoming human as well.
After the battles with Bega, the secret dictator of the Unseen Council, Bem, Bela, and Belo disappear from the city. Two years later, Sonia follows a lead and visits a mysterious Pharmaceutical Company “Draco Chemical” to search for Bem. What awaits is a man named Belm Eyesbar, who is totally different from the yōkai she used to know.
