Published by Dramatic Create and developed by HuneX, the otome game “Steam Prison” (スチームプリズン) is confirmed to release a Nintendo Switch version on 25th February 2021 in Japan.
The game is priced a JPY$6,900 and will feature Japanese voice-overs, with English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) subtitle options.
“Steam Prison” first launched for PC in December 2016 in Japan, followed by PS Vita with an additional route in October 2017. Publisher MangaGamer released the PC version in English via Steam in February 2019.

There are two kinds of people: the rulers and the ruled. The Heights are a gorgeous utopia. The Depths, a filthy industrial wasteland. Our heroine, raised in the Heights, has nothing but contempt for those below. Now an observation mission requires her to descend into that world, and the gears of fate have begun to turn.

The Switch version includes the short stories “Wedding Eve” in Novel Mode, as well as additional CG and character songs. It features a new opening theme song “Brilliance” performed by the 6 dateable characters. The PC and PS Vita edition opening themes can also be viewed from the Video Playback Mode.
