Fantasy manga The Ancient Magus’ Bride（魔法使いの嫁）announced a TV anime series to be broadcasted in October this year. After the release of a key visual in early March, it finally released a preview video at AnimeJapan 2017.
The manga is written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki（ヤマザキコレ）. The story centres on Hatori Chise (CV: Atsumi Tanezaki), a 15 year old girl who is bought to be a bride and an apprentice by Elias Ainsworth (CV: Ryota Takeuchi), a mysterious fairy and human hybrid. The anime adaption will be made by WIT STUDIO who has also produced Attack on Titan. Beside a TV series, the manga has previously got a prequel anime shown in theatre only.
