2021 has been an odd year given that many developers and studios has delayed the release of their creations due to the impact of the worldwide pandemic. Good news is that as new year has come, we can expect a slew of highly anticipated mobile games that is set to release in 2022.
Here are some of QooApp’s most anticipated anime mobile games in 2022. Obviously, the list is not exhaustive, and we’ve left out some, but not all, of the more obvious triple-A inclusions. Be sure to check it out and let’s us know which one you expect the most!
Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade
Developed by Sumzap, Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade is the first smartphone game adaptation of Gege Akutami‘s Jujutsu Kaisen popular manga series. The game will feature the anime’s story in full voice, as well as additional episodes under the perspective of different characters.
Build you team with your favourite Jujutsu Sorcerers and enjoy the high quality graphics in the turned-based command battles, which pretty much like the Persona video game series in view of the in-game screenshots. Newly created illustrations will also be available exclusively in the game!

NIKKE:Goddess of Victory is a third-person shooter created by SHIFT, a Korean studio that was founded in 2013 by Hyung-Tae Kim, an art director and illustrator famous for Blade & Soul and The War of Genesis 3. The studio’s first mobile game, Destiny Child, reached number-one grossing app upon release in 2016 in Korea on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
The mobile game is set in a place where the earth has been destroyed by unidentified weapons. Players will play as an Android named “NIKKE” to fight for the mankind. The game will feature life-size illustrations instead of SD characters in battles, so that players can enjoy intense battle action and realistic character movements.

Echoes of Mana is an action mobile RPG gathering the all-star characters from the “Mana” Series. Players can enjoy a new story that transcends the boundaries of the work, woven both by the original and signature characters of the series.The 2D action mobile game stays true to the series’ features, while multiplayer contents will be available for players to fight together.
Developed by WFS, the free-to-play mobile game supports Japanese, English, German, French, Traditional Chinese and Korea text. It is set to launch in spring 2022.

takt op. Destiny is the city of Crimson Melody is a mobile RPG that based on Bandai Namco Arts and DeNA’s classical music multimedia project, takt op. Far East of Eden and Sakura Wars’ creator Oji Hiroi is credited for the project’s original work. Hideki Sakamoto provides the game’s soundtrack. Singer Mika Nakashima performs the theme song “SYMPHONIA”.
The game was originally set for a 2021 release but has been delayed to 2022 for quality improvement. The player plays as the Conductor and conducts the “Musicart” girls to battle against D2 (creatures come from outer space to invade the earth) with classical music.

Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Lost Stories was first announced in 2018 by DMM Games, but the project was suspended in 2019 until a recent reboot announcement. The game will be co-developed by f4samurai and will release sometime in Spring 2022 for PC and mobile devices.
In the action RPG, players take the role of an original protagonist and immerse themselves in a Code Geass spin-off story never told before. Players can pick either a male or female avatar for their protagonist, who interact with the franchise’s signature characters including Lelouch, C.C., Kallen Stadtfeld, and more.The Knightmare Frames will be entirely 3D, whereas the more social aspects of the title will feature motion graphics.

Sin Chronicle is a new RPG that inherits the spirits of Chain Chronicle, but follows a completely different story. In Sin Chronicle, players will have to determine their own destiny. Every chapter, they have to make an ultimate decision that determines the route they are on and the decision can’t be retrieved. The allies that you choose joining the journey will also change your fate.
The game features a turn-based command battle system, where players makes use the character’s different skills to defeat the monsters. After the adventure, players can interact with the party members. The members that you choose to interact will bring different events and thus affect your journey later on.

Dream Meister and the Recollected Black Fairy shares the same universe as GCREST’s another otome game 100 Sleeping Princes & the Kingdom of Dreams, but will follow a completely new story. The “dream-woven fantasy occupation RPG” is set to release this winter.
The game is set in the World of Dream, a realm where people under strong wills live with the power of Dream. While the World of Dream keeps evolving with new techniques and technologies, the dream-woven craftsmen, known as Meister, join hands with the establishment of different Guilds.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppu Kengeki Royale
Kimetsu no Yaiba: Keppu Kengeki Royale is the first Demon Slayer mobile game developed by Quatro A with the help of Soleil Studio for both iOS and Android. The game was originally announced for a 2020 release but was delayed to ensure the quality of the game at launch. No new release timeframe was announced at this time of writing.
In the game, players can choose to be on either the “Demon Slayer” team or the “Demon” team. The “Demon Slayer” team is required to exterminate the “Demon” while the “Demon” team needs to hunt the “Demon Slayer” team. The game mode will be similar to Dead by Daylight or Identity V, which players will be divided into teams with different numbers of players.
