The anime adaptation of “My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World!” light novel series revealed the first trailer, a new key visual, additional cast and main staff. The anime will debut in 2022.
In the trailer, we start with a scene of the main character Yuuji (CV: Chiaki Kobayashi) waking up in another world…against his will, of course. The trailer then transitions to showing several slimes (say, one of them reminds me of Mr. Qoo…), as well as Dryad and Proud Wolf.
It also shows scenes that reveal Yuuji’s unconscious strength, as well as a battle with a huge enemy, including a comedic scene where Yuuji effortlessly destroys a rock with his fire magic and says “Hey, when you say my magic is weird…is it on the sense that it’s weak?”

■ Yuuji – CV: Chiaki Kobayashi
A worker at a company that overworks its workers to the maximum. Yuuji was reincarnated into the world as a “Tamer”, a very weak class. However, by learning with the slimes, he acquired the secondary class “Sage”, and has unwillingly become a very strong Sage, despite not being aware of such fact.
■ Dryad – CV: Azumi Waki
A forest spirit. Is terrified of humans, but took pity on how weak Yuuji was. Ever since then, they’ve been working together.
■ Proud Wolf – CV: Wataru Takagi
A wolf that Yuuji tamed. He may look tough, but is in fact, a scaredy cat that runs away at every combat. His strategy in battle? Flee, flee!!
■ Slime – CV: Hikaru Tono
The first slime that Yuuji tames during his adventure. Looks like an ordinary slime in every way.
■ Mustache Slime – CV: Nichika Ōmori
A slime with a big mustache. Unlike the other slimes, it is cool and calm.
■ Eyebrow Slime – CV: Mikawa Haruna
A slime with big eyebrows. Out of all the slimes, it loves eating more than anything else, especially meat-based dishes.
■ Leaf Slime – CV: Erisa Kuon
A slime with leaves adorning its body. Often says anything and everything without thinking twice.
■ Eyepatch Slime – CV: Mai Kanno
A slime with an eyepatch. Even with the eyepatch, this slime always watches out for its surroundings.
■ Scar Slime – CV: Miharu Hanai
A slime with a scar. Prefers to deliver its words via combat rather than sppech.
