Shochiku Pictures published the full trailer for the live-action sequel film adaptation of Aoi Hiiragi’s Whisper of the Heart\/Mimi o Sumaseba <\/a><\/strong>manga. The movie, which is set 10 years after the story of its original manga and the famous anime film adaptation by Studio Ghibli, will open in Japan on October 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This preview starts with Seiji and Shizuku’s lines “My dream is to become a cellist” and “While Seiji-kun is in Italy, I will study more and write I’ll study more and write a story while Seiji-kun is in Italy. The video also previews the cover song of “Please Give Me Wings” (\u7ffc\u3092\u304f\u3060\u3055\u3044) sung by actress Anne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additional cast members were also revealed. Takuma Otoo plays the general manager of the publishing company where Shizuku works, Marika Matsumoto plays her senior, Keisuke Nakata plays her junior, and Kei Tanaka plays Sonomura, the writer to whom Shizuku will be assigned. Takashi Kobayashi and Yoko Moriguchi will play Shizuku’s parents, and Masaomi Kondo will play Seiji’s grandfather and the owner of the earth shop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As previously announced Nana Seino takes the role of Shizuku Tsukishima and\u00a0Tori Matsuzaka\u00a0as Seiji Amasawa when they grow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, a brand-new movie ticket design will go on sale at movie theaters screening the film nationwide starting July 15. The card features a design of Baron looking straight at the viewer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
