Kondo Kenichi\u2019s Dark Gathering<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0horror manga\u00a0is getting a TV anime adaptation by studio OLM. As part of the announcement, a teaser trailer and visual have been released. Hiroshi Ikehata is directing the anime, which is set to premiere in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The manga has been serialized by Shueisha\u2019s Jump Square manga magazine since March 2019. Shueisha has collected its chapters into individual\u00a0tank\u014dbon\u00a0volumes. As of March 4, 2022, nine volumes have been released. A celebration illustration by Kenichi is also revealed on the official Twitter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series follows the story of college freshman Keitaro Gentoga who seemingly attracts ghosts despite hating them. After receiving a spirit-related injury two years ago, he became a shut-in. He slowly returns to normal life thanks to his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki and takes a job as a part-time tutor for Eiko\u2019s cousin Yayoi Houzuki. And just like Keitaro, Yayoi also has a spiritual affinity and yearns to continue to encounter spirits. Keitaro and Yayoi decide to look for spirits at haunted spots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
