The anime based on Tatsuki Fujimoto’s action comedy manga, Chainsaw Man<\/strong><\/a> unveiled a new key visual featuring Denji on top of rubble after a gruesome fight, with organs and blood falling out of the sky. It also announced that a new PV would be released on August 5. With the anime still getting promotional works in early August, the anime could be arriving in the Fall anime season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chainsaw Man is set to debut within 2022. The new PV will be released on August 5, 20:00 [JST] on Mappa’s youtube channel.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chainsaw Man is a manga series following Denji, a 16-year-old boy abandoned by his father and has to pay off his debts to the Yakuza. After he meets a tiny devil named Pochita, he becomes a devil hunter for the Yakuza to clear his debt. After a series of mishaps and gruesome violence, Denji is then recruited by Makima from the Public Safety Division to hunt devils for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series was nominated for the 13th Manga Taisho awards in 2019, won the best Shonen Manga category at the 66th Shogakukan Manga awards, along with many other accolades, and is even nominated for the 2022 Eisner Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
