Norio Sakurai’s The Dangers in My Heart<\/a><\/strong> romantic comedy manga is receiving a TV anime adaptation next year! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The manga author Sakurai also sent a celebratory illustration featuring a smiling Yamada who make a W peace sign while looking at the camera, and Ichikawa, who looks embarrassed beside. In addition, 12 people including two of their classmates Kobayashi, Sekine, Yoshida, and others were drawn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Norio Sakurai started serializating the manga in\u00a0Weekly Sh\u014dnen Champion\u00a0in March 2018 and was moved to\u00a0Champion Cross, before being moved again to\u00a0Manga Cross. It has been published in six\u00a0tank\u014dbon\u00a0volumes. The 7th volume will be published on August 8. The manga has a cumulative circulation of over 2.3 million copies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series also ranked first in the\u00a0Next Manga Awards\u00a0in the web manga category in 2020. It ranked fourth in a 2020 poll asking people what manga they most wanted to see adapted into an\u00a0anime, and ranked first in the same poll in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dangers in My Heart centers on Kyotaro Ichikawa, a disgruntled loner student who fantasizes about murdering his popular classmates and often reads a murder encyclopedia to learn about human anatomy with the class idol, Anna Yamada being his prime target. However, when he observes that Anna is rather quirky in her own way, and when she becomes increasingly friendly toward Kyotaro, he gradually warms up to her and they start to come closer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
