The official Twitter account for Naoya Matsumoto’s Kaiju No. 8<\/a><\/strong> manga announced that an anime adaptation is currently in production!\u00a0The announcement comes with a new teaser visual and trailer giving us a sneak peek at the long-awaited anime series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teaser doesn’t really offer much visually as the video shows numerous places within Japan as the number 8 flashes in the middle of the screen, ending with a glimpse of a Kaiju in the distance destroying a city.\u00a0No further was given yet, such as the release schedule, cast, staff, or animation studio, but it definitely makes as one of the most anticipated anime announcement of the year\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
