A huge wave of late 2000s nostalgia is hitting me all at once, when it as revealed on Twitter <\/strong><\/a>that Kagami Yoshimizu’s Lucky Stars<\/strong><\/a> manga, is finally coming back from an eight-year-long hiatus on November 10!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The manga was placed on hiatus after Yoshimizu had to set time aside to work on a new project. The series is coming back to Kadokawa’s Mitaina! magazine on its third issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is by no means confirmation that Lucky Stars is getting another anime season, but it’s great to know that the manga is finally coming back, and a piece of many of our childhoods and teen years is resurfacing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucky Stars is a slice-of-life comedy manga written by Kagami Yoshimizu. The series has an anime that aired in 2007, known for its incredibly relatable scenarios, slice-of-life comedy, and plenty of pop-culture references, with a commonly referenced in-joke being that Konata Izumi, voiced by Aya Hirano also voices Suzumiya Haruhi, with both series being animated by Kyoto Animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucky Stars’ unique composition and heavy in-reference to otaku culture, while also being a great read lead many to visit its real-world locations featured in the anime and opening, especially with the series even including instructions on how to get there, leading to mass “pilgrimages” to these memorable locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
