During today\u2019s Nintendo Direct, Square Enix announced that\u00a0<\/em>a sequel to Octopath Traveler<\/a><\/strong>, fittingly titled Octopath Traveler II,\u00a0is now in development. The game is set to release on PS5, PS4<\/a><\/strong>, and Nintendo Switch<\/a><\/strong> on February 24, and on PC via Steam<\/a><\/strong> on February 25, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new game refines everything that was great about the original title, but tells a completely new story, set in a different era and a brand new land, making it perfect for newcomers, too. It’s also a standalone title so you don’t have to play the previous Octopath Traveler to enjoy it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
