The official Fuji TV YouTube channel has streamed the official trailer for the upcoming Kaina of the Great Snow Sea<\/a><\/strong> anime, and original television anime project from BLAME! and Knights of Sidonia collaborators Tsutomu Nihei and Polygon Pictures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trailer reveals more staff members, as well as the opening theme song “Telepath” (\u30c6\u30ec\u30d1\u30b9) by Yorushika, and the ending theme song “Juvenile” (\u30b8\u30e5\u30d6\u30ca\u30a4\u30eb), by GReeeeN. The anime will premiere on January 11, 2023 on Fuji TV’s Ultra+ block. Crunchyroll will stream the anime in the west. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Set in a world where the land is about to disappear due to the ever-expanding mare nubium (snow sea), Kaina of the Great Snow Sea is a “boy-meets-girl high fantasy” where humanity ekes out a harsh life above the Tenmaku that stretches from the roots to the tops of giant Orbital Trees. The story centers around Kaina, a boy who lives above the Tenmaku, and Liliha, the princess of the small country of Atland in the Great Snow Sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
