At today’s Jump Festa 2023, a television anime adaptation of Akira Amano’s Ron Kamonohashi: Deranged Detective<\/a><\/strong> has finally been greenlit! The detective manga is created by Akira Amano, which is known to be the author of Kateky\u014d Hitman Reborn!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stage event also revealed a teaser visual and video alongside the announcement. The anime series is directed by Shota Ihata and animated by Diomedia. Wataru Watari is in charge of the series composition, while Masakazu Ishikawa is working on character designs. Yo Tsuji works on the music at Kadokawa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The series focuses on the adventures of Ron Kamonohashi,\u00a0an eccentric\u00a0private detective, and Totomaru Isshiki,\u00a0an unskilled\u00a0police officer, as they solve crimes together. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The manga has been serialized in\u00a0Shueisha’s\u00a0Sh\u014dnen Jump+\u00a0since October 2020, with its chapters collected into eight\u00a0tank\u014dbon\u00a0volumes as of November 2022. The ninth volume will publish on January 4 and its cover has also been revealed for the first time at the stage event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
