Based on the fantasy manga written and illustrated by Kore Yamazaki, The Ancient Magus’ Bride<\/strong><\/a> Season 2<\/a><\/strong> anime has revealed its first trailer, key visual, and additional cast that will debut this season. The anime will start airing in Japan and streamed on Prime Video on April 6, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Chise and Elias, six new characters are featured in the key visual along the phrase: “Welcome to the world of sorcery that is mastered by humans from the world of magic that is out of human nature.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The six new characters introduced are the schoolmates of the main character, Chise. Minami Tsuda will play Lucy Webster, Maki Kawase will play Philomela Sergeant, Seiichiro Yamashita will play Rian Scrimgeour, Daiki Kobayashi will play Zoe lvy, Reina Ueda will play Veronica Rickenbacker and Kotaro Nishiyama will play Isaac Farrar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The production work will be handled by Studio Kafka for this season, the same studio in charge of the OVA The Ancient Magus’ Bride: The Boy from the West and the Knight of the Blue Storm, replacing Wit Studio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
