Released on October 4, 2021, Code Geass Genesic Re;Code announced that its servers will officially be shutting down on April 27, 2023, meaning the game will have been online for approximately 1 year and 6 months when it shuts down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement was made on the game’s official website<\/strong><\/a> and Twitter,<\/strong><\/a> where the developers thanked players for enjoying the game up till this point, and also announced that the game’s final story content from chapters 9 to 12 will be released over the coming months starting from February. Chapter 9 will be released in February, with chapters 10 and 11 in March, and finally, Chapter 12 will be released in early April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game has since suspended the sale of all premium currency along with daily passes and boost passes. The game is also temporarily suspending all access to the game from outside of Japan. You’ll be able to start applying for refunds after the game shut down if you have your player ID and password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Code Geass Genesic Re;Code is a game based on the Code Geass anime series by Sunrise and CLAMP, and is set in an alternate reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this universe in the year 2035, a mad scientist by the name of Percy Frankenstein creates clones using Emperor Lelouch’s DNA and the DNA of others he has known in his life. These clones, known as the L-Children take DNA from Lelouch and Suzaku, Lelouch and CC, Lelouch and Kallen, and Lelouch and Nunnally, essentially becoming all surrogate children of Lelouch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Code Geass Genesic Re;Code’s story is split into several canons, featuring the original anime, game-original storylines, and unique combined universes called “lines”, which take the established canon and mix it up with alternative events creating wacky scenarios, such as Shirley becoming Zero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of that, the game is played as an auto-battling RPG, where you can tap on the characters to use their skills during battle, and even call upon Knightmare Frames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The game currently has a rating of 3.5 on the QooApp Game Store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
