Netflix and TV Tokyo unveiled a new visual for the upcoming live-action adaptation of the Kimi Ni Todoke: From Me to You<\/a><\/strong> manga series. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The staff behind the series then also revealed more of the show’s cast members, including Kaito Sakurai as Ry\u016b Sanada, Rinka Kumada as Ayane Yano, Riho Nakamura as Chizuru Yoshida, Naho Toda as Y\u014dko Kuronuma, Hiroyuki Hirayama as Kitao Kuronuma, and Sh\u014dhei Miura as Kazuichi Arai. These new cast members join Sara Minami and Oji Suzuka as the show leads Sawako Kuronuma and Shota Kazahaya respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kimi Ni Todoke live-action series is debuting worldwide on Netflix on March 30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u258d<\/strong><\/span>About Kimi ni Todoke<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You is a Japanese sh\u014djo romance manga by Karuho Shiina. It was published by Shueisha in Bessatsu Margaret from 2005 to 2017 and collected in 30 tank\u014dbon volumes. In 2008, it won the Best Sh\u014djo Manga award in the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sawako Kuronuma is a high school freshman who has been dubbed Sadako by her classmates due to her resemblance to the character. Because of this, she’s been ostracized by her peers and rumors even start to spread that she can see ghosts and curse people, ruining her prospect of making friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite how she looks though, Sawako is an incredibly sweet girl who just wants to be helpful. That’s when Kazehaya, a popular boy in school begins talking to her and helping her make friends. This encounter changes her outlook on life and eventually brings joy back into it, and eventually a romance begins to blossom between the two, no matter how people see them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
