The television anime adaptation of Broccoli Lion’s The Great Cleric<\/strong> <\/a>fantasy light novel series has also revealed its key visual and main cast. The anime series will debut in July 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anime is directed by Makoto Tamagawa, with character design by Guonian Wang, and the series composition by Keiichir\u014d \u014cchi. Yokohama Animation Lab & Cloud Hearts studios are in charge of the animation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main cast includes Reiji Kawashima as Luciel, a healer who was a businessman in his previous life, Akio Otsuka as Brodo, instructor of the adventurer’s guild, Tomoaki Maeno as Gulgar, a wolf-beastman who serves as the master of the adventurer’s guild cafeteria, and Daisuke Ono as Galba, Gulgar’s older brother. The visual features a scene of the main character, Luciel, landing in a different world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, a stage event of The Great Cleric will be held at Tokyo Big Sight on March 25 and 26 at AnimeJapan 2023. Details on the date, time, and performers will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Great Cleric follows a salaryman who was murdered in Japan and reincarnated on the planet of Gardaldia. Having been reborn into a world of monsters, magic, and things that can end his life at any moment, he devotes himself to the study of becoming a healer in the hopes that in this life he can live in earnest and only die of old age! But without any knowledge of magic, the salaryman, now known as Luciel will work himself to the bone, shedding any blood, sweat, or tears needed to live out his dream, or die trying!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
